I thought I’d show y’all how to make one of my favorite spiritual oils, Blood of Jesus oil. Now don’t get hung up on the name if Jesus isn’t your jam, you can call it whatever you want (others call it simply Red Oil, which is my preference) but I believe in passing on the same information that I was given, so I’m gonna post this under the name by which it was taught to me. It could also be called Red Serpent oil which I quite like. You may be wondering what it’s even for, and why I think so highly of it… it’s used to break curses, cleanse away evil influences, bad luck, negative spiritual work, to strongly and fiercely protect, to set a hedge of spiritual protection, to give immense energy and power to your work, to grant victory and mastery, to send away negative spirits or entities, to confer a blessing, to grant dominance… I could go on. Whatever name you choose to call this formula by, you would be well prepared if you had it in your go-to box of spiritual tools. Let’s learn how to make it.
Always begin with lighting a candle, and pouring a glass of water, making prayers to whoever your folks are. Ask for their blessing on each item as well as on the working itself, and light some incense. I lay my items out in front of me and spray them lightly with liquor, then use my rattle over them while praying for them to be awakened, and telling them what we’ll need them to do. Psalms to be read include psalm 23, Psalm 51 and psalm 91. The basic ingredients for this oil are-
*Dragons blood resin, crushed
*hyssop
*angelica root
*Whole cloves
*Bay leaves
Add to a base of olive oil. This is the basic recipe done, I also added to this essential oils of frankincense, vetivert, cinnamon, and sandalwood but it isn’t necessary. You can also add a small rusty iron nail and a pinch of red brick dust, if desired and available
This oil can be used on candles, poppets, pictures, mojo bags, as you normally would. I like to anoint rusty railroad spikes with this oil and then tie chicken feathers around it to form a protection and defense charm. Dress a candle with this oil and with licorice root to give yourself dominance and power over enemies and negative forces, to compel them. Add a few drops to a mixture of cornmeal and ground coffee to make an excellent floor sweep. Use to anoint the SATOR square for protection. Burn psalm 91 to ash and mix with this oil and salt, then sprinkle around the house for an amazing protective ring. Use to empower yourself when standing up against corrupt people, use to protect protestors, to protect children in schools from injustice and harm, to empower Good community leaders and protect from corrupt community leaders. Use to nail down scoundrels.
